Collective Community

An offshoot of the Camden Collective model, Collective Infants School is a primary school building transformed into a workplace in the heart of Camden Town - buzzing with the ideas and potential of energetic and passionate climate tech startups.

Collective Infants School will be a hub of ideas, partnerships and development of young businesses passionate about technological solutions to climate change and adaptation.

For the first 12 months, 20 fixed desk spaces will be granted for free to small climate tech startups, funded by Euston Town BID. We also have offices available with capacity of 10-15 people at 50% of the market rate.

Collective Community:

• Members contribute two hours of their time each month towards the growth and development of Collective

• Members attend quarterly review meetings

• Members agree to follow our first rule: don’t be an arse

Who can apply?

We are looking for a range of businesses to create a diverse but collaborative community, who:

• Work in climate technology and on interesting, innovative and viable solutions for the net zero movement.

• Are keen to become an active part of a community that creates new partnerships, and shares resource and knowledge.

• Would benefit from the provision of free or subsidised workspace, which would allow their business and technology to progress.

• Willing to contribute two hours per month to the services of Camden Collective, plus being a part of the garden maintenance rota.

BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAMME

As a Climate Collective member, you will be asked to join a focus group to help us develop a business support program that best suits you. The support we offer will be aimed at creating a thriving and investable startup community:

• Investment fairs where you can demonstrate your technology and products to investors.

• Local business mentors appointed to guide you in practical business modelling and management.

• ‘Lunchtime Specials’ where fellow Collective members share their areas of expertise.

• Socials / startup speed dating intended for you to understand more about startups in the wider Collective community to explore opportunities for collaboration.

• Day/half day workshops on the business themes of your choice.
